Westbriar's Annual Field Day is filled with fun outdoor activities for all grades. (Rain Date June 8th)

Once again we will show grade unity through our colorful field day t-shirt. Each grade has a color. We have repeated the design and colors from last year. If your child still has a t-shirt that fits them from last year - they do not need to buy another one this year. For example: Your last year 2nd grader had a Royal Blue t-shirt....Royal Blue is now the t-shirt color for 3rd grade. The color moved up with them!

K- Carolina Blue, 1st- Orange, 2nd – Gold, 3rd – Royal Blue, 4th – Lime Green, 5th- Red, 6th – Sapphire

Please do not feel obligated to buy a shirt, wearing the grade color in a shirt you may already own does the trick too! Deadline to order is May 18! Order Form

Committee Chairpeople Transition Meeting (13 Jun 2012)

This is an opportunity for the current and upcoming chairpeople to meet and transition for next year.

We will also pencil in the calendar of before/after school programs so that committee chairpeople are not scrambling to find a room for his/her event.

Camp Invention (25 Jun 2012)

Camp Invention will return to Westbriar for a new week of creativity this summer. This year's program is called Envision, and is different from last year's. It is open to all students in 1st to 6th grade in September 2012.

All Sports Camp (02 Jul 2012)

July 2-6th (EXCLUDING July 4). Westbriar will host an All Sports Camp for students entering grades 1-5. Camp will be 9am-3pm and will be held primarily outdoors on the grounds of Westbriar. Children will play a variety of games such as kickball, ultimate frisbee, pick-up basketball, capture the flag, and sports trivia.

The camp is run by Mr. Brian Lonardo, a community parent and full-time PE teacher at Georgetown Day School and High School Basketball and Soccer Coach.

Registration opens May 8

Cost: $200 ($20 discount for 2+ kids: register all kids individually and pay by check. Contact Trang Sabel or Brian Lonardo to inform us so your record will be adjusted accordingly.)

Westbriar will once again host a summer chess camp sponsored by the U.S. Chess Center. Camp is July 9-13 from 9am - 12pm and is open to players entering grades 2-7. Registration ($100) is open to the public and via the U.S. Chess Center's website.
