Classroom Teacher Notification

You will be notified of your child's classroom teacher by mail. 

Be sure your mailing address is current, if you need to update it, contact the school at 703-937-1700.

Classroom Lists will NOT be posted on the school doors as in past years.

Open House

When:  Sept 2 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Where:  Westbriar

You and your child will meet their new teacher, see their classroom & get acclimated with their new surroundings!

Spiritwear (clothing with Westbriar logo) will be available for order and other items will be for sale:  Westbriar Magnet, 2009-2010 School Directory; Yellow “notes from home” Tablet and more. Cash and Checks will be accepted 

School Supply Kits

If you purchased a School Supply Kit through the PTA, the kit will be delivered to your child’s classroom before Open House. (see – isn’t that easy!)

Back-to-School Coffee

When:  Sept 7th  9:15 – 10:00 

Where:  Westbriar Cafeteria

This year on the first day of school, our PTA Hospitality Committee is organizing a quick coffee and homemade treats for parents.  If you are a new parent to Westbriar, we especially want to welcome you to our community.

Fall Festival

Please join us for an afternoon of family fun on October 3 from 1pm - 5pm at the 4th annual Westbriar Fall Festival.   Activities include a Rock Wall, Rock N Roll Joust, Moonbounce, Sports Galore, Midway Games, Obstacle Course, and more!  Presale tickets & wristbands are available online.  Click  Fall Festival for more information.  Volunteers are needed to make this event a success so don't be shy!   Please contact Barbara Muhlenberg at bah0913@cox.net to volunteer.

First Dinner Out - September 16th  Why cook on Back to School night when you can call Domino's AND 20% of your check will benefit our PTA!  Be sure to use the official proof of purchase form to get credit for our school and your child's class!  We will hold a total of 4 Domino's nights - the class who orders the most will win a pizza party for the classroom at the end of the year!

Macy's Shop For A Cause  On October 16th, Macy's will hold their annual Shop for a Cause event.  Westbriar Elementary School will participate in this wonderful event to raise money for our school while providing you with valuable discounts!
