French Classes!!!
Back by popular demand, the Westbriar PTA and Mrs. Sandrine Le Bihan are pleased to offer a French ‘encore’ to our soaring Westbriar students!
The Winter/Spring program will start the week of January 23, 2012 and run until the week of April 23, 2012, for a total of 12 classes.
There will be two levels:
Grades K-2 on Tuesdays (8:00-8:55a.m.). Click here to register.
Grades 3-6 on Fridays (8:00-8:55a.m.) Click here to register.
Cost: $135 per student ($130 per student – discounted price for PTA members). This cost includes materials.
Mrs. Le Bihan, a French native speaker and a parent at Westbriar, holds a Master’s Degree in French from George Mason University; she has been teaching French for several years in the local area schools and was excited to share her knowledge and experience with the Westbriar E.S. community last year. In her classes, Mrs. Le Bihan creatively employs games, conversation, songs, crafts, etc. so that her students experiment and play with the French language while discovering the vast Francophone world…
Please note: all students are welcome, with or without previous experience with the language. However, in order to maintain satisfying teacher/student interaction, classes will have a maximum of 20 students. Therefore, enrollment is on a first come/first served basis.
