GRACE Arts is a PTA-funded supplemental art program that allows the students an extra art experience once a month during the school day.  It is a volunteer-run program where parent volunteers present an artist or subject each month followed by a coordinating art project.  The class is between 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the age of the children and the schedule of the teacher. 

Each month we study a different artist or subject.  We provide background information, project suggestions, art posters, and art materials.  We just need volunteers!  Following are the artists or subjects we will cover this year:

            October           Georgia O’Keefe B(American, Abstract Southwest Painter)

            November        Introduction to Architecture

            January           Eric Carle(American, Children’s Book Illustrator)

            February         Elements & Principles of Design

            March             Horses in Art

            April                Robert Lobe(American, Sculptor)
