FALCON BUCKS IS BACK!

FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY

Now that we’ve settled in to the routines of the school season, remember that you have the power to help Westbriar Elementary meet the educational needs of our children with Westbriar PTA’s FALCON BUCKS scrip program.  We are bringing back our successful FALCON BUCKS gift card program for a limited time.  Last year, we raised over $1,000 for technology enhancements for our school!  You can choose gift cards from dozens of retailersundefinedincluding Giant, Safeway, Starbucks, Barnes and Noble, TJ Maxx, Macy’s and  many major restaurant chains and online retailers.

The process is simple. Think about where you will shop this weekundefinedhow much will you spend on groceries, clothing, household items, gifts, etc. Then look at the list of retailers available through our scrip program to find the stores where you would normally shop. Order gift cards for the purchases you plan to make anyway, and then use the gift cards to purchase your merchandise.  Remember, gift cards also make great holiday gifts!  Because we buy the cards through United Scrip, a fundraising wholesaler, we get a percentage of the sales as profit for our school (percentages vary by retailer).  Ordering FALCON BUCKS cards is an easy way to support our school without spending any more money than you usually do. 

We will submit orders every week from now through Dec 9th .  Orders submitted by Friday afternoon will be available the following Friday afternoon.   There are two ways of ordering.  As in the past, you can fill out the order form (also available in the carousel in the front lobby) and send it to school with a check made out to Westbriar PTA.

You can also order online and pay with a credit card!  To do so, you need to register with the website; go to www.scripzone.com and click on “New User”.  The Westbriar group id (needed to complete registration) is 703937WE.  Please choose your child’s teacher for the team.  This is not for any competition, but simply for organizational purposes and to know where to send the cards.  Once registered, you only need to remember your login information, and you may order at any time.  Please note, however, that credit card payments result in 3% less rebate for the school per gift card.  Retailers that offer 3% or less rebate will not be available with this payment method.
