JUnior coders: Code with fun
Grades K-1Offered by Stemtree. Your child may know how to use computers and tablets to watch videos and play games, but at Stemtree they will learn how to make their own. This virtual class will teach students how to create and develop computer programs instead of playing them. They will learn programming concepts in a fun and interactive way. Students will combine media elements to create and share their own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art. They will learn basic reasoning and problem-solving skills. All students need is a touch screen device such as an IPad or Chromebook and access to the free app. Your child does not need previous computer programming experience.
