Westbriar Elementary School PTA
This class is special for our fellow Athletes or for anyone that would like to bump up their skills to be a better athlete. We will work on agility, endurance and technique. In many sports, the ability to change directions can be the difference between success and struggle. Lateral agility allows players to cut, turn and land. To do this, players need to develop single leg strength, balance, core stability, eccentric strength and the ability to land safely.
Agility training is a great way to get the kids to not only be active, but also develop their bodies athletically. Agility training exercises can help incorporate healthy habits into the young athletes, and teach them proper body positioning, coordination, and hand-eye coordination. We will work on their endurance on duration of physical activity and how they respond, and also utilizing method and technique to get them to that extra mile within their level of expertise.
Schedule: Fridays, 4:20pm-5:20pm
Dates: 8 weeks, 4/15, 4/22, 4/29, 5/6, 5/13, 5/20, 5/27, 6/3
Program Fee: $160
Pay online at time of registration to complete your registration. Incomplete registrations will be cancelled, and your spot will be given to the next registrant. No refunds.
