The PTA sponsors events and fundraisers throughtout the year.

Annual 5K Run / 1 Mile Walk

Event will support No Kid Hungry in its goal to ensure every child has the food they need to grow up healthy and strong.

PTA also plans to support:

  • Community Garden
  • Leveled reading kits
  • Technology 
  • Westbriar's culture of inclusion


We are pleased to offer sponsorships for this year's race to highlight our business community.  The Westbriar Elementary PTA is a registered 501(c)(3) organization with tax exempt ID 54-1264386.  Your support is greatly appreciated!

Friend of Westbriar Level: $50

Your company name will be displayed on our Student Council's "THANK YOU" bulletin board.

Bronze Level: $100

Friend of Westbriar Level benefits plus your company name/logo will be listed on our registration site for this race.

Silver Level: $250

Bronze Level benefits plus your company name/logo will appear on a professionally printed banner to be displayed the day of the race and inside the school for the next year.

Gold Level: $500

Silver Level benefits plus your company name/logo will appear on the back of the race t-shirts.

Title Level: $1000+ (limited to 2 businesses)

Gold Level benefits plus your company name/logo will receive top placement on the back of the race t-shirts.

Westbriar Elementary Science Fair

Thursday, April 19 2018 at 6:30pm-8:30pm Open to all

Friday, April 20 2018 during school hours for classes only

Turning in Your Project

Drop off your trifold poster on APRIL 19th:

7:00am – 8:30am SACC (for morning SACC students only)

8:45am - 11:00am Cafeteria

4:00pm – 5:30pm Cafeteria and Gym

Presenting Your Project

At the Science Fair on Thursday, April 19 th , you are asked to stand in front of your project for a 45-minute session that evening. During that time, people may ask you questions about your project or ask you to explain.

You should stand by your project from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. if you are in Grades K-2.

You should stand by your project from 7:15 to 8:00 p.m. if you are in Grades 3-6.

When you are not standing with your project, you may view other projects at the Fair. 

Do not remove your project at the end of the evening on Thursday, April 19th . On Friday, April 20 th Westbriar classes will visit the Fair during the school day.

Several times a year, the PTA arranges for a local restaurant to designate a date dedicated to fundraising for our school.  
This is a great excuse to get together with friends and forget about cooking for the night, while helping to raise money for our school

January 31 - Shake and Skate @ Tysons

February 28 - Cava

March 20 - MOD Pizza

Feed the Falcon

This is Westbriar Elementary's first direct giving fundraiser.  There is nothing to buy, nothing to sell and 100% of the funds raised will be reinvested in our school.

Feed the Falcon funds will be used to accomplish specific goals such as playground shade and an outdoor classroom.

All Donations may be tax deductible.
