walk/Bike to School challenge week (October 2nd-6th, 2023)

Westbriar PTA is celebrating International Walk / Bike to School Day all week long.

Walk, Run or Bike every day so you can to help Westbriar win the challenge!

How does it work? Students collect a token if they bike, walk, or scooter.   We know how many people participate based on the tokens taken, and we report the number daily to the other Vienna Elementary Schools.  Winner is based on the cumulative number of walkers/bikers/scooters at the end of the 5 days versus how much they did on the previous year!

Safety Tips:  Stop at each intersection and look all ways before crossing! 

Students who walk / run / bike to school any day during the week of October 2nd can pick up a token outside the main entrance (Door 1) on their way into school. Tokens will be handed out between 8:50am and 9:15am.

Necklaces will be handed out to students on Monday and then they can add tokens each day. Students can also add tokens to their necklaces from Walker's Club if they have participated in that program in previous years.
