DESIGNING A SUPERHUMAN

NUTRITIONAL GUIDANCE & PRACTICAL COOKING SKILLS

Kids are surrounded by processed calories and conflicting nutritional guidance.  This environment creates numerous challenges for them and us well-intended parents who need convenience due to demanding schedules!

Leveraging 21st century learning best practices, each kid will use simple nutrition messages and hands-on kitchen skills to customize their own unique guide for healthier living.  The project-based learning program is designed around real world scenarios that result in sustainable lifestyle improvements!

COURSE INCLUDES:

• 8 Hands-On After School Classes
• One-of-a-Kind Workbook For Each Student
• Interactive Cooking Workshops Using Real Food (Allergy Considerations)

Class Information:

Days: Fridays, Sept. 20th – Nov. 8th

Class Time: 4:00 – 5:00 PM

Where: Westbriar ES Cafeteria

Who: 4th - 6th Grades

Cost: $135 for Non-PTA Members ($130 for PTA Members)

(Includes enrollment, student workbook, all food/snacks and class materials)

Classroom Limits: 20 (4th – 6th) for Fall session
