After-School Art!

Creativity and imagination are fostered in this after school art class. Students are introduced to a wide variety of media and techniques. They are taught the proper use, application and care of artist’s materials. Drawing, painting, collage, printmaking and sculpture are among the media used. Emphasis is placed on process over product, as each student begins to develop his/her personal, unique artistic style.

The program is run by experienced art teachers at Harmonia School of Music and Art, which is a respected local art and music school in Vienna.

 Who: Westbriar students, Grades 2 - 6

Where: Westbriar Cafeteria

When:  10 weeks, on Wednesdays, starting on October 2, 2013

(No class on 11/27)we will meet on 10/30.

In case of inclement weather,

we reserve a make-up date for 12/4.

Classes run 1.5 hours long, between 4 and 5:30pm.

Parents will be expected to arrange for prompt pickup at 5:30.

Cost:  $216 (PTA Members get the discounted price of $211), includes a $25 materials fee.
